Promising to be the perfect blend of entertainment and education, the inaugural OutdoorX will take over the spectacular waterfront precinct of Sanctuary Cove as exhibitors showcase the latest in outdoor lifestyle products.
Multiple activation zones will allow visitors to not only see the very best in 4x4s, caravans, motorhomes, camping, boating, trailers, fishing and much more but receive a hands-on experience via innovative and interactive displays.
Endless entertainment including cooking demonstrations, live music and street performers will bring The Marine Village to life, while the precinct’s array of restaurants, cafes and bars will deliver the good times they are famous for.
High-profile exhibitors will include KEA and Paradise motorhomes, Trayon Campers, caravan manufacturers Nova, Alpine and Trakmaster, and marine brands Sirocco Marine North and Brisbane Yamaha.
German motorcycle brand BMW Motorrad is planning an eye-popping exhibit including a high-powered stunt rider, while the 4×4 Zone will see industry experts providing demonstrations and tests of the latest models, along with real-time tips about techniques and tow-outs.
A trailer driving school will be a key feature of the Trailer Zone as visitors receive top tips and handy hints about jockey wheels, manoeuvrability and trailer dampening.
Trailer boat and water sports manufacturers will also have their latest products on show in the Sea Trial Zone, with potential buyers offered the opportunity to take the likes of BRIG inflatable boats for a test run on the magical waters surrounding Sanctuary Cove.
Adults and children alike will love the interactive fishing competition, with great prizes up for grabs for anglers who land the best catches out of the Sanctuary Cove Marina.
Fishing and outdoor expert Paul Burt will also be part of the action, having signed on as an OutdoorX ambassador and ready to share his wealth of knowledge whether it be how to land a decent fish or cook one on a camp oven.
A fun day out for the whole family, limited early-bird tickets are now on sale for $10 (one day) with children under 15 years free.
A free convenient Park ‘n’ Ride will be available to every OutdoorX ticketholder, while limited onsite parking can be purchased in advance when buying tickets.
